Welcome to the final half term in Silver Class! The year has flown by! Our topic for the term is still 'Around the World in 80 days', but we now learning about Africa and the rest of the world. Will we contrast life in an African city and village and compare it to life in Allington. I am sure we will also find time to learn about South Africa and some of the countries taking part in the world cup! Exciting times!
What did we learn last term?
We learnt about the local area and the facilities found in it. We got very wet on our walk around Allington! We went to the row of shops by the school and over to Mid Kent Shopping Centre. We also did two traffic surveys, one on Castle Road and the other on Hildenborough Crescent. We only saw 7 cars and a bus in 5 minutes on hildenborough Crescent! We are sure that it is a lot busier arounf half past 8 and quarter past 3!
